शिव का अर्थ क्या है
शि-व का शाब्दिक अर्थ है- वो जो नहीं है या कुछ-नहीं। इन दो शब्दों, ‘कुछ’ और ‘नहीं’ को अलग करने वाला हायफ़न का चिन्ह ज़रूरी है। पूरा अस्तित्व एक विशाल शून्यता/खालीपन की गोद में ही घटित हुआ है। परमाणु और पूरे ब्रह्मांड का निन्यानवे फीसदी से ज्यादा हिस्सा खाली है। एक शब्द "काल", समय और स्पेस दोनों के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता है और शिव का एक रूप काल भैरव भी है। काल भैरव अंधकार की एक दिव्य स्थिति है लेकिन जब वो एकदम स्थिर हो जाते हैं, तब महाकाल का रूप ले लेते हैं। महाकाल समय का परम स्वरुप है।

विश्व के किसी भी हिस्से में, आध्यात्मिक प्रक्रिया का मतलब हमेशा भौतिकता से परे जाना ही रहा है, क्योंकि भौतिक चीजें चक्रों के अधीन हैं। इसलिए काल भैरव को अज्ञानता का नाश करने वाले के रूप में देखा जाता है, वे जो जीवन और मृत्यु, होने और न होने के बाध्यकारी चक्र को तोड़ देते हैं।
What is the meaning of shiva
The literal meaning of Shi-va is - that which is not or nothing-nothing. The hyphen separating these two words, 'some' and 'no', is necessary. The whole existence has happened in the lap of a vast emptiness. More than ninety-nine percent of the atom and the whole universe is empty. One word "Kaal", is used for both time and space and also a form of Shiva is Kaal Bhairav. Kaal Bhairav is a divine state of darkness but when he becomes absolutely still, then he takes the form of Mahakaal. Mahakal is the ultimate form of time.
